Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback, Alexis. We're sorry the Sienna Classic Underscarf didn't seem to work out for you. I recommend tying it just so it's snug but not too tightly as that will have the opposite effect and the tension will cause it to slip back throughout the day. It should be secure throughout the day with just a snug fit and please be sure to wear it right at your hairline where your hairline meets your forehead and not further back than that.
