This past spring I saw these embroidered dresses everywhere, but wasn't sure how to make it work with hijab -- until I found this one! It comes with a slip underneath, but that still left the sleeves sheer, soooo I cut it down the middle (that's right, took scissors and cut it from the v-neck to the bottom hem!) so it would wear more like a cardigan than a dress. Then I layered this turtleneck underneath, tucked into these jeans, put a satin sash over it and voilà!
