With their ever-so-flowy structure and high-waisted fit, palazzo pants are the perfect piece for those hot and humid summer days when the last thing you want to wear is a pair of jeans, or for chilly days when you really just want that extra “hug” of fabric. Kimonos have become an extremely popular piece in recent years, and I can’t think of anything more perfect than a beautiful flowing kimono paired with some palazzo pants. They come in various styles and lengths, and many hijabis have duly noted that these styles often function the same as an open abaya. How great is it to have so many modest options so widely available?

Once again, the trick to nailing this look is all about proportion. A longer kimono better balances the flowiness of the look than a shorter one that cuts across the upper leg, and it makes the whole silhouette look tall and elegant.
