The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect NYC Girls' Trip

This past summer (my God has it been that long!) my girls Hala and Noha (be sure to check out her food blog!) and I had a fun weekend in the city and we hit up all the hotspots! Follow along for my ultimate guide to the perfect NYC girls trip!

1) Book a killer hotel in a great location

We scored bigtime when it came to an amazing central location right in the heart of Midtown that was comfortable enough for three girls to share (enough said). The Park South Hotel was the perfect boutique hotel that served as our base the entire trip.

2) Let the sight-seeing begin!

We walked to the iconic flatiron building and got some sweet shots in then stopped at a small food-truck for a snack stopping to take selfie's along the way ;)

3) Cruise the New York harbor

Next on our list was a dinner boat cruise with Bateaux New York. The cruise includes a three course dinner but you really go for the views - they're second to none! I *highly* recommend this amazing experience - take in the sights and get up close and personal with the statue of liberty!

Feel the wind flow through your hijab! LOL

Take in the majestic Brooklyn Bridge in all its glory!

Bring your camera, you'll be snapping away ;) Sidenote: how gorgeous is Hala in the Petal Pusher Scarf!

She's a beauty! #NoFilter by the way - the sunset was really this amazing and lady liberty really glows!

4) Wake up early and spend an afternoon shopping in Soho

Make a stop at the Chobani on Prince and Broadway! The Cucumber + Olive Oil is sooo refreshing! It has fresh mint and sea salt and is the perfect snack in between all the shopping you'll be doing.

Color coordinating your outfits with stunning Haute Hijabs isn't a must - but it does up your selfie game ;)

NYC Pro Tip: When you're out and about all day and need a place to pray - stop in a hotel like we did here! They're on practically every block in NYC and the concierge or front desk is always so helpful. Just ask them for a quiet room or space to pray and they'll accommodate you :)

5) Act like a foodie and get your grub on

After heading back to the hotel to drop all our amazing shopping finds off, we quickly changed and headed out to dinner at Del Frisco's Grille in Rockefeller Center. Everything was amaaaazing. The appetizers especially were incredible and I *definitely* recommend the filet - it's cooked to perfection!

Clearly we went overboard on the dessert. #WorthIt

6) Visit Rockefeller Center

If you have time I definitely recommend Top of the Rock, (the viewing deck at the top of the Rockefeller building) for the stunning views but we didn't have a ton of time so we strolled through the plaza and if we hadn't stuffed our faces at Del Frisco's we totally would've stopped at Magnolia's Bakery around the corner!

7) Head to the Upper East Side and stroll through the fabulous neighborhood!

There's no better way to explore NYC than by strolling on foot and one of the best neighborhoods to discover is the upper east side - the walk-ups and beautiful stoops are the ideal back-drop for some incredible photo-ops!

8) Head over to the Met to soak up some art in style

For the last day of our getaway we opted for a chill vibe at the Met. The Met is HUGE - you'll likely only get through one exhibition. We chose a temporary exhibit on the Seljuk Era - it was amazing!

9) End the trip with a bang by strolling through Central Park

Central park is *massive* so I suggest you start with an area you want to explore and see how far you can get from there. The boathouse is an amazing central park fave along with the Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis reservoir, the Central Park Lake and the Gapstow bridge (below).

What a perfect end to an amazing weekend getaway with my girls :) Some other great locations we didn't have time to check out on this trip: the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, 9/11 Memorial, the High Line, Grand Central Station & Bryant Park. Watch my vlog of our trip below!
