*Another winter coat alert* This one came a little later in the season from Oak + Fort (my new fave brand!!!) I have to admit the fit and sizing is not for everyone, but perfect for boyish and petite figures. I splurged when I was in Toronto (they're a Canadian brand) and got the outfits you saw here & here on IG. This particular color is sold out, but I also love the oversized coats here & here. Very chic!
Inside I'm wearing a very old oversized turtleneck I got from H&M back when I was in Dubai (similar ones here, here & here) and BlankNYC jeans from Revolve (old, but similar pairs here, here & here). Pumps are Calvin Klein (patent version here) and purse is Zara (sold out but I love this and this one!) My hijab is the Desert Storm in Square.
A great way to work an oversized coat like this is to cinch it with a belt! I added a snakeskin belt (from Uterique in Dubai but I love this and this one and this one is extra funky and fun!) for an alternative look. Otherwise, heels really help this look from looking frumpy and be sure to scrunch up the sleeves for a modern take on this classic. Enjoy! xoxo, Mel
