On Day 2 of NYFW I didn't attend any shows and instead had a fun insta-live with Leena Asad (@withloveleena) where I interviewed her on her rise on social media, how she started and what makes her uniquely her. We got footage with another camera for YouTube, although it was our first time doing video for this set-up and it's kiiiinda sub-par. I might not post it. I might actually post it. I don't know ;)
On Day 3, I attended the Banana Republic presentation and got to meet Olivia Palermo *my ultimate style crush, sigh* then made my way to the RewardStyle roof-top party after a fun lunch with some girls.
I'm wearing this white dress I feel like I dreamed into existence and after much Googling finally found
here. I paired it with
jeans from Abercrombie (I also love
these from J.Crew) and
these sandals. My belt is super old from J.Crew but I love these ones
here and
here. This was the first time I took my new fall purse out for a spin (feel free to watch my
unboxing video!) and I haven't put it away since! You're gonna get so sick of seeing this purse in all my style posts, but when you invest this much in a handbag - you better WEAR IT am I right ladies!?
My hijab is the
Perfect Everyday Hijab in
Ivory I wore to top off my monochromatic white look. The head-to-toe one color look is coming your way much more in the days to come so get ready for some monochrome madness ;) Enjoy! xoxo, Mel
For the @liketoknow.it rooftop party I wore these pants I got from Zara (sold out) with my
new blazer also from Zara. Turtleneck is super old from J.Crew (
this one is identical and beautiful) and the belt is by BCBG (maaaad old). My hijab is the
Modal Maxi Wrap in Camel. Of course, my new purse is right where it belongs, in my hands ;)
Would you wear either of these looks? Let me know in the comments below!
