We were so happy to help support Loyola University Muslim Student Association's Walk a Mile in Her Hijab Event for the second year in a row - the event was a great success! The event was part of their yearly Islamic Appreciation Week that took place this past March.

The Loyola MSA held 11 events during the week, but the Walk a Mile in her Hijab Event specifically attacked negative stereotypes many Muslim women face.

Women from all walks of life joined the event to experience what it was like to wear a hijab. Over 100 participants opened a little pink bag with a hijab inside and pledged to wear it for the entire day.

We donated well over 125 hijabs for the event and asked some of *you* to donate your pink hijabs as well for this amazing event!
