HH Style Guide: Camel + All Neutral Everything at Frioul Bistro de Luxe
Posted on March 30, 2015
I've really been getting into the monochromatic look with neutrals as of late and this outfit is clearly no exception! Camel looks great on medium complexions, so I always stock up on camel basics.
I recently got these Bristol Trouser Pants from J.Crew (obvi) and had them shortened for that cropped trouser look. I paired them with my J.Crew Elsie pumps that I've been wearing with everything and included as part of my Spring 2015 wardrobe changers!
I've had this camel cardigan since college that I got from the Limited and I love being able to *shop my closet* by digging out old favorites and pairing them with new stuff!
Of course I'm wearing an HH - the Simply Purrrfection Scarf, one of my go-to's (a couple leopard prints are coming soon to HH including the return of the Fierce Feline!)
My tortoise sunglasses (Kate Spade) and tortoise statement necklace (J.Crew, old) helped bring all the elements together, while my purse and pumps were the perfect combo.
On this day, we had Friday brunch (Dubai is famous for their Friday brunches!) at a new spot we hadn't tried before in Madinat Jumeirah called Frioul Bistro de Luxe and it was amaaazing!
The decor was beautiful - really different than anything we've really been to in Dubai, with a live jazz band playing and a full 5-course meal that was so so delicious!
Friday brunches in Dubai are known for the extravagant buffets and overly-decadent spreads. I loved that this restaurant kept things simpler. A set-menu in smaller portions but I have to say we were so full by the time dessert arrived. Everything was so good!
Frioul Bistro de Luxe is set in my favorite place in Dubai - Madinat Jumeirah (ranked #1 on my list of top 10 hotspots to check-out in Dubai!)
