When summer rolls around I love myself a long breezy skirt. When I posted this photo on Instagram yesterday so many of you asked where I got it from (of course it's super old from college) so I thought I'd put together a Melanie's Picks post with some beautiful long skirts perfect for summer and Eid right around the corner!

Casual Skirts

Some of these skirts will need a slip underneath although I was careful to make sure none of these have slits. Some of my favorite looks with long skirts are white long sleeve t-shirts with our viscose wraps (if I'm wearing a regular cotton t-shirt I'll need a wrap to give me extra coverage in front ;) or with a jean jacket or cropped blazer on top.

Other cute looks are collared tops (white or denim will look adorable with these picks) knotted at the bottom or a billowy top with great statement sleeves tucked in the front and left untucked in the back.

Dressy Skirts

These dressy skirts make me *swoon* and are perfect for Eid or your next formal affair. Creating a cohesive look with these formal skirts will be a bit more difficult than the skirts above, but don't fret! Beautiful silk tops, crisp white collared shirts or tailored cropped blazers will create a stunning look. Top it off with an embellished belt or statement necklace (but not both!) and some killer heels. Top it off with our *perfect* satin hijabs perfect for formal occasions in scarves or wraps.
