Happy New Year! It's hard to believe it's been almost six years since we launched Haute Hijab - and what a ride its been! We started with one simple idea - that Muslim women are a viable, functioning segment of society whose needs are important enough to be heard and catered to in mainstream society. From our humble beginnings of one-of-a-kind vintage hijabs to our plethora of hijab and clothing options available today, that idea has always been the impetus and heartbeat of our company. It's the driving force behind each new print I source and clothing piece designed.

We are very excited to announce that Ahmed and I will be moving back to the U.S. later this month. We're incredibly grateful for all the experiences and adventures Dubai granted us but also thoroughly excited for our move back home. We can't wait to be close to our customers again and aim to connect with you all even more with pop-up shops and Haute Hijab community gatherings all across the U.S.

Along with the move is my decision to pursue Haute Hijab full-time. Many of you may know I work as an attorney while running Haute Hijab and genuinely, the law is one of my many passions. This decision did not come easy, it is with a truly heavy heart that I leave my legal career in order to take Haute Hijab on full-time. I do hope to continue to contribute to the legal field and perhaps return to law, but for now, I know that dedicating 100% of my time to Haute Hijab is crucial in order to serve the needs of all of you.

Over the past year we've increased inventory to make sure that the hijab you want is available to you without it selling out in just one day. We are working to continue to carry all the essential products you love on the website throughout the year. We also hired Danyah, our amazing Customer Support Specialist who many of you have had the pleasure of communicating with over e-mail. She has been an incredible asset to the Haute Hijab team and will continue to work relentlessly to help you with anything you need.

Moving forward, expect some exciting things in store as we venture into 2016. From a product perspective, we are focused on providing more essential hijab options, designing our prints in-house as well as completely new hijab designs, paying closer attention to design details that elevate our products in order to fulfill our vital mission of providing you with the very best in design and quality.

Haute Hijab is and always has been your brand. We hear and value every single one of your opinions and take very seriously the feedback you all convey to us. We hope you continue to make Haute Hijab your #1 destination for all things hijab and allow us the pleasure of serving you now and in the future.
